This post was bound to happen sooner or later. My favourite subjects to photograph are, of course, the fluffilicious Willis and Lochie.
They are such fabulously willing participants, all it costs me is a few pats and the occasional Schmaco. Whenever I get a new lens – Willis and Lochie, whenever the light is gorgeous outside – Willis and Lochie, whenever they are doing something cute (always!) – Willis and Lochie…. you get the idea. Out of the hundreds of gigs of photos I have (is that a correct thing to say – hundreds of gigs? ), I’m sure at least half of them are of the dogs. Well, maybe not that many… but there are a LOT.
So this post is for all the dog lovers out there who understand the compulsion to take hundreds of photos of your pets, even though to everyone else every photo LOOKS THE SAME. We know they don’t. We understand when they are having a good fur day, or when they are smiling (yes – they do smile), or when they really are not in the mood (“must we do this – AGAIN??”). Or even for those strange “cat loving” people – although cats are clearly not as photogenic.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am. ~Author Unknown
