Perth Maternity Portraits: Jaye

I am a wee bit enamoured with sun flare. My clients will attest that I do a little dance when I capture some gorgeous flare in my lens. Not an internal dance – I usually let out a little squeal and jump up and down a bit.  As I was driving to Jaye and Steve’s house for their maternity session, I was doing a little jig in my car seat as I saw the sun setting into a gorgeous golden light. When we got outside I was in flare heaven 🙂

Jaye received the maternity session as a birthday present just after Christmas, so I’ve been looking forward to this for a few months now. It was such a gorgeous afternoon, and the light was just perfect across the beautiful bush setting behind their house.  They have their nursery all set up and ready to go. With so many cute baby themes to choose from I have no idea how anyone decides how to decorate their nursery, but Jaye and Steve have done an amazing job! I was very close to stealing the sheep slippers…. might have to hunt down a pair in my size!

Thank you to a beautiful couple for a beautiful afternoon. Only a couple of weeks now and we will meet your newest family member! Enjoy your last days of anticipation – I can’t wait to meet him or her 🙂

-Beck xx
