As soon as I heard from Shae & Callum about their wedding, I knew this was going to be an awesome day! They’ve been together since they were 17 and when you meet them it becomes very clear very quickly that in addition to being (now!) husband and wife they are the very best of friends.  Their initial email held so many of my favourite wedding words  – fun, relaxed, DIY vintage, laugh, first look, South West wedding, cocktail & personal touches. Plus they sent me a picture of their dog Cooper!

The effort that went into creating their wedding decor, the dresses, THE dress, bowties, the cake was massive – such talented people! One word they didn’t include in their description of the wedding that needs to be added are is genuine.  Shae & Callum are one of the most genuine, down to earth & all-round awesome couples I’ve had the privilege to photograph.

So, without further ado I present the wedding of Shae & Callum. I also have their kick butt engagement session to share with you, but love these wedding photos so much I had to get them out first 🙂

Big thanks to Lauren for shooting with me, and to Shae & Callum for having me as part of your day!! xx

Hooray! The amazing wedding of Katie Mac & Gregg Bell is here for you to see.

Their beautiful relationship that spans many years as well as an ocean, was cemented in a gorgeous ceremony at St Michael the Archangel in Leederville, followed by dinner, drinks and merriment at Frasers in Kings Park.

An absolutely magic day  including the best maid of honour speech I have heard, a flowergirl and pageboy who supplied endless amusement, some hilarious video messages from friends overseas, and an impromptu photobooth; it was an honour to be involved! Special thanks to my partner in crime Lauren xx

Sending so much love to you both!!! xx

Without further ado – here is the MacBell wedding 🙂 xx

Rachel & Leon had the most beautiful wedding.
So much hard work and so many personal touches came together to make this wedding absolutely magic. From the custom silver fern hairpiece that Rachel had made in honour of her gorgeous Kiwi man Leon, the jam that Rachel’s mum painstakingly made for every guest, the fabulous hand made table decorations, to the heirloom jewelery.
Every member of the bridal party was so supportive and relaxed – something that is invaluable on a wedding day. But that is only a scratch compared to the amazing impact their perfectly chosen words had. From the vows to the speeches, every word chosen came together to produce the perfect combination of tears and laughter.

THEN there was the  dance floor. High fives to every guest for bringing it, owning it, and leaving it on the floor 🙂

The venues certainly played their part. The ceremony was at the stunning Guildford Grammar Chapel, and the reception was at Chapel Farm in the Swan Valley. Fabulous staff that I can’t recommend enough.

Rachel and Leon your wedding was simply stunning. Your love is so heartfelt, genuine and beautiful to witness. I count myself lucky to have been there to play a small part.
Thank you so much for having me as part of your day! I had an absolute blast – as you may have guessed, given I hung around for a REALLY long time 😉 I can’t wait to see your beautiful babies – chop chop 😉  xxxx

I had an absolute blast with Emma & Paul out by the river taking some fun portraits. They had huge smiles all evening, but still managed to sneak in a few soft romantic moments in between laughs.

Love, laughs and a little adventure – what more can you ask for?

How lucky are we to have this beautiful weather so we can enjoy magical evenings and the very best sunsets mother nature has to offer. Now if only we could do something about those mosquitoes…

Thank you so much Emma & Paul, and big congratulations on your engagement! xx
